With public holidays fast approaching, you may opt to impose a surcharge to compensate for increased operating costs. Let’s explore surcharges and how easy they are to set up.

Diving into Back Office, select Vouchers and Discount, then Surcharge Setup. Add a new surcharge by selecting NEW

This will open the Surcharge Edit screen. Here you can…

  • Name the surcharge

  • Assign the surcharge to a specific family, or by selecting ALL, apply it to all products. You have full control over which price levels, locations, or member classifications it applies to. For example, you may not want the surcharge to apply to members, but only to visitors.

  • Enter any date and time range that you want the surcharge to apply.

NOTE: This gives you the ability to set & forget! You can set any surcharge in advance and focus on managing your venue.

Finally, you can set the surcharge to auto-apply to the sale. This means, that your staff do not need to do a thing! The surcharge will automatically apply to the sale when it is in the sales grid. It’s as easy as that!

Don’t forget, update your terminals once you set your surcharge.
